Our Basic Fundamentals Pack includes a set of terms and conditions for your business, whether it is an online store or delivery at-home based business. The Basic Fundamentals includes one major revision for each of the documents included in the Pack. It provides you with a simple and effective privacy policy to cover off on those obligations you may have under Australian Privacy Law and a short disclaimer to include on your website to help limit any liability.

Building Your Team

If you are hiring your first employee, then our Building Your Team Pack is a perfect way to get your employment contract sorted with your new employee.
An employment contract establishes the relationship with your employee and outlines everything about the employee’s duties and responsibilities while working for you. It also sets out the employee’s rights, the hours they are required to work, how much they will be paid and your expectations of them in your business.
Our Building Your Team Pack includes an employment contract for either an award-based employee or a non-award-based employee. We can also throw in for an extra fee a workplace employee handbook providing workplace policies that will assist in setting out your expectations as an employer. Our Building Your Team Pack includes one major revision of the tailored employment contract.
Importantly, the employment contract will ensure the assignment to you of any and all intellectual property rights generated by employees during the course of their employment.
All employees are covered by the National Employment Standards, regardless of whether they’ve signed an employment contract. A contract can’t make employees worse off than their minimum legal entitlements. In some industries and occupations, employment conditions are set out in an award. An award is a legal instrument created by an industrial tribunal and located on the Fair Work Ombudsman’s website.

We can assist with preliminary advice regarding the registrability of your business name, domain names, trade marks and any logos before you decide to register any trade marks.
Our Brand Check Pack provides you with comprehensive check and search results about your brand before you spend too much money on creative branding to find out you can’t actually register the names. Our advice provides results on registration for business names, domain names, company names and trade marks.

Trade Mark Protect

- Preparation and drafting of one Trade Mark Application including tailoring specifications
- One IP Australia goods and services classification fee (currently $400 per class)
Did you know that the registration of a business, company or domain name does not automatically grant any ownership rights in the name and that only a registered trade mark can offer such ownership?
For the proper protection of your business or company name, you should consider a trade mark registration. A registered trade mark is a valuable asset to your business and shows that you take your intellectual property seriously.
Our Trade Mark Protect Pack includes our talented team tailoring a trade mark application to your logo or word trade mark. The application consists of one goods and services classification too. We also perform a brief preliminary check as to whether any conflicts and issues could arise, which would see your application not proceed.
This is a great solution to ensure that you obtain exclusivity and proprietary ownership of your trade mark. With filing fees starting at $400 per class, for a 10 year registration period, renewable forever, registering a trade mark is a valuable investment to protect your business.

Debtors Dealings

Many startups and small businesses are owed smaller sums of money that can be uncommercial to recover through a full legal service. This is where our friends at CGCollect can help. We’ve partnered with CGCollect to provide Bolter clients with a discounted easy, affordable, online way to pursue unpaid debts. These redeemable tokens must be used within six months from the date of purchase.
For debts up to $50,000 or in circumstances where you would prefer a more streamlined debt collection solution, then our Debtor Dealings Pack is a great way to collect that debt. Our team, in conjunction with CGCollect, will prepare a lawyer-approved letter of demand and send it off with a deadline for payment to the debtor. If payment isn’t forthcoming, we’ll chase it up via phone. If it remains unpaid, we’ll come back to you with further advice about what you should do next.
